Our client, a highly respected UK law firm, is looking for a Junior Executive Assistant to join their corporate team in their London Head Office. This full‑time role (Monday–Friday, 9:30am–5:30pm) sits within a collaborative group of Executive Assistants and Administrators and offers excellent training, mentoring, and long-term development. It’s an ideal step for someone who is ready to move from an administrative role into a more advanced EA position.

Working closely with senior stakeholders across the corporate practice, the Junior Executive Assistant will provide organised, professional and client-focused support. The role involves a blend of complex tasks, project work, and day‑to‑day administration, giving the successful candidate exposure to a wide range of responsibilities and the opportunity to build strong working relationships across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders, managing calls, messages and incoming queries confidently and professionally.
  • Managing email inboxes and developing effective systems to keep communication organised and efficient.
  • Building strong internal relationships and developing a solid understanding of clients, matters and ongoing workstreams.
  • Handling proactive diary management, coordinating schedules, resolving clashes, and supporting day‑to‑day priorities.
  • Organising meetings, including room bookings, catering, technology setup and preparing supporting materials.
  • Coordinating events and conferences, overseeing invitations, RSVPs, travel arrangements, venues, logistics, and attending where needed.
  • Supporting team meetings through agenda preparation, action tracking and follow‑up.
  • Assisting with the planning and administration of training programmes, including scheduling, materials preparation, tracking attendance and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintaining accurate data and documentation for training, events and client relationships.
  • Building strong working relationships with Partners, fee earners and business services teams.
  • Supporting knowledge sharing within the team and stepping in during busy periods or colleague absences.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal processes, quality standards and best practice.
  • Supporting end‑to‑end delivery of legal training sessions, including logistical and technical assistance.
  • Updating internal intranet pages and supporting Business Development activity, such as maintaining CRM data and assisting with marketing materials and directory submissions.
  • Providing additional administrative support as needed, including ad hoc tasks and project work.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Strong skills across Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), with solid administrative experience.
  • Fast and accurate audio and copy typing skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong written accuracy.
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to work well with colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Commercially aware with a proactive, solutions‑driven mindset.
