An exciting opportunity has arisen within a thriving business support team for a Secretary (Patents).
Key Responsibilities
As part of a friendly and hard‑working secretarial team, you will provide high‑quality support to busy fee‑earners. Your duties will include:
- Preparing and issuing invoices
- Drafting correspondence and preparing documents
- Communicating with clients, agents and external contacts
- Updating internal systems and databases, including Inprotech
- Providing tailored support to meet specific client requirements, including using client portals/document management systems
- Managing records and general administrative tasks
About You
- At least 12 months’ secretarial experience within an Intellectual Property (IP) environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly
- Highly organised, able to prioritise multiple deadlines, and comfortable working on your own initiative
- Experience with invoicing and/or Inprotech is an advantage
