Patent Secretary – Basingstoke (Hybrid)
£30,000 – £35,000
My client, a well-regarded firm within the Intellectual Property space, is seeking a Patent Secretary to join their Basingstoke office on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with at least 12 months’ secretarial experience within an IP environment who is looking to further develop their career within a supportive and professional team.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a positive, can-do attitude.
Key responsibilities will include:
Preparing correspondence and documentation to a high standard
Liaising with clients, agents, and internal stakeholders
Maintaining and updating internal records and databases, including Inprotech
Providing tailored administrative support to meet specific client requirements, including use of client portals and document management systems
Assisting with the preparation and issuing of invoices
Key requirements:
Minimum of 12 months’ secretarial experience within an Intellectual Property environment
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
A proactive and positive approach to work
Experience with invoicing and Inprotech would be highly advantageous
