Asset Management Lawyer (3–7 PQE) | Managed Legal Services | Flexible Working
Location: Birmingham or Leeds
I’m currently partnered with a leading international law firm looking to grow its Managed Legal Services team within its Property practice.
This is a great role for a mid-level lawyer with strong asset management experience who’s looking to work in a more innovative, delivery-focused legal environment, while still being closely aligned to a top-tier firm and high-quality client base.
The role will involve:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of asset management documents (leases, licences, variations, surrenders, extensions, consents, etc.)
- Managing transactions including lease renewals, assignments, terminations and new lettings
- Working closely with in-house legal, estates and operational teams
- Providing clear, commercially focused advice across large property portfolios
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practice
What they’re looking for:
- 3–7 years’ PQE (England & Wales qualified)
- Strong background in commercial property asset management
- Experience handling lease negotiations, renewals and portfolio work
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Commercially minded with a practical, solutions-focused approach
- Exposure to the food & beverage sector is helpful but not essential
- An interest in legal tech and more efficient delivery models is a plus
