Our client advises the world's leading corporations, investment funds and financial institutions on their most critical legal needs and business opportunities. The Firm's approximately 500 lawyers are based in North America and Europe.

The Accounts Payable Clerk will support the day-to-day operation of the Accounts Payable function. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices and expenses, managing supplier relationships, resolving queries, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Accounts Payable inbox and respond to supplier and internal queries in a timely manner
  • Review and seek required approval for invoices and employee expense claims through Chrome River
  • Set up new vendors in 3E and complete required validation and compliance checks
  • Process invoices and expenses for the Brussels office, Corporate Travel, Deliveroo and taxi providers (including Addison Lee and HQ Summit)
  • Coordinate the submission of IT invoices to the New York team for processing
  • Reconcile supplier statements and internal expenditure records, including Deliveroo accounts
  • Investigate and resolve invoice, payment, and reconciliation discrepancies
  • Provide guidance and training to secretaries and business services staff on invoice and expense submission processes
  • Maintain accurate accounts payable records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

The Candidate

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Payable, Finance Assistant, or similar finance administration role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience using Chrome River for expense and invoice management – favourable but not essential
  • Experience using 3E or similar financial management software
  • Experience working within a professional services environment
