An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a prestigious law firm, providing dedicated support to a Partner within its renowned Art & Luxury team.

This is far more than a traditional secretarial position. You'll become a trusted member of the practice, working closely with the Partner to keep a busy workload running seamlessly while building strong relationships with high-profile clients and colleagues. If you enjoy being one step ahead, thrive in a fast-moving environment and have an interest in the worlds of art, luxury, fashion or design, this could be the perfect role.

What you'll be doing
  • Providing first-class support to a busy Partner, managing priorities and ensuring everything runs efficiently.
  • Coordinating complex diaries, meetings and appointments.
  • Arranging UK and international travel, including detailed itineraries.
  • Managing emails and correspondence, acting as a professional first point of contact.
  • Preparing legal documents, presentations, reports and client communications.
  • Opening new matters, maintaining files and ensuring documentation is accurate and compliant.
  • Monitoring deadlines and keeping matters progressing smoothly.
  • Assisting with billing, WIP management, time recording and liaising with the Finance team.
  • Processing expenses and supporting the wider financial administration of the practice.
  • Maintaining CRM records and assisting with client events and business development initiatives.
  • Providing occasional personal assistance where required to support the Partner's busy schedule.
About you

You'll be an experienced Legal Secretary or Executive Assistant who enjoys supporting senior stakeholders and taking ownership of your workload. You'll be highly organised, adaptable and confident managing multiple priorities while delivering an exceptional level of client service.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience supporting a Partner or senior executive within a professional services environment.
  • Excellent diary management, organisational and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems before they arise.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Experience with billing, document management and client administration.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.

A genuine interest in the art, luxury, fashion, design or wider creative sectors would be a real advantage, although it isn't essential. If you enjoy working in a polished, high-performing environment where no two days are the same, we'd love to hear from you.
