Our client, an elite US law firm, is actively seeking an enthusiastic and professional Future Trainee to join them on a 12m FTC in their London office - working as their new AML Assistant.
You'll be joining an experienced forward-thinking AML/Risk & Compliance team - led by the London based Deputy General Counsel and Global AML Manager.
As the successful AML Assistant, you'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- AML research and conducting risk assessments
- Updating firm software tools and databases
- Summarising results of research and drafting matter/risk assessments
- Performing due diligence on clients
- Performing PEPs, adverse media and sanction searches
- Following up on outstanding AML files
Plus much more.
To be considered for this opportunity, you'll need to have/be the following:
- Have a Training Contract confirmed with 12 months availability
- Ideally, have some experience/exposure to AML (desirable, not essential)
- Be able to commute to the London office on a regular basis
