We’re recruiting for an experienced Legal PA to join a highly regarded specialist firm, known for its expertise in patent and trademark work, within their busy Dispute Resolution team.

The firm has a modern, collaborative and forward-thinking approach, with a strong focus on innovation, technology and delivering a high level of client service. You’ll be joining a friendly and supportive team where you’ll have plenty of variety and the opportunity to work closely with experienced Fee Earners.

This is a full-time role providing comprehensive PA and administrative support to Fee Earners, working alongside an Administrative Assistant to ensure the team operates smoothly and clients receive an excellent level of service.

The role

  • Provide day-to-day PA and administrative support to Fee Earners.
  • Manage busy diaries, inboxes and meetings, including room bookings and meeting arrangements.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel.
  • Prepare and format legal documents, correspondence and court documentation.
  • Maintain electronic files and ensure records are accurate and up to date.
  • Monitor key deadlines and prompt lists, following up on outstanding actions.
  • Prepare invoices and assist with the billing process.
  • Support Fee Earners with client and matter-related administration.
  • Prepare forms and maintain accurate client instructions.
  • Attend team meetings and provide wider administrative support as required.

About you

We’re looking for an experienced Legal Secretary/PA who is organised, proactive and confident managing a varied workload. Previous Litigation or Dispute Resolution experience would be beneficial, although the firm is open to candidates from other practice areas.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous Legal Secretary experience within a law firm.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence using technology.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritise competing deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
  • A proactive approach, with the confidence to work independently and use initiative.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with Fee Earners, colleagues and clients.
