Our client, a leading UK and international law firm, is actively recruiting for a non-contentious Construction Associate to join them on a permanent basis in their London office – this role will suit someone between NQ-2 PQE level.
The team holds a strong reputation in this space and the Lawyers are recognised for their expertise in various areas such as procurement, development, construction and large-scale projects.
As the successful Construction Associate, you’ll be responsible for:
- Helping clients prepare agreements
- Advising on risks in live schemes (advising on delays, preventing failures of construction projects, giving payment advice)
- Analysing contracts and providing clients with updates
- Advising on live projects (assisting in avoiding disputes, commercial negotiations and deals)
- Large scale due diligence
Plus, much more.
To be considered for this Construction Associate opportunity, you’ll need to have/be the following:
- Be an England & Wales Qualified Lawyer (NQ-2 PQE)
- Have experience working in a Construction or Housing practice/team
- Have good working knowledge of JCT, NEC and EPC forms
- Be able to commute to the London office on a regular basis
