We are currently recruiting for a Junior PA to join a highly regarded city law firm.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator or junior PA looking to develop their career within a supportive professional services environment. You’ll work closely with Partners, Fee Earners and wider business teams, providing varied day-to-day support and gaining exposure to a broad range of responsibilities.
The Role
- Providing PA and administrative support an allocation of fee earners.
- Managing diaries, meetings, conference calls and room bookings.
- Assisting with expenses, payments and the end-to-end billing process.
- Handling enquiries from clients, colleagues and external contacts, acting as a professional first point of contact.
- Assisting with client due diligence and preparation of engagement letters.
- Supporting client and matter administration, ensuring information is accurately recorded and maintained.
- Updating client and business development information and assisting with reports.
- Helping to organise client events, seminars, lunches and other business development activities.
- Producing, formatting and redacting documents to a high standard.
- Assisting with ad-hoc projects, including document bundles and team events.
- Building strong relationships across the firm and supporting the wider Private Client team
About You
- Around 2 years’ experience in an administrative / secretarial role within a law firm.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisation and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
- Accurate typing, spelling, grammar and proofreading skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- A proactive, adaptable and positive approach.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
- A professional and personable manner.
- The ability to work collaboratively while also taking ownership of your responsibilities.
A secretarial or legal secretarial qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
