We are currently recruiting for a Junior PA to join a highly regarded city law firm.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator or junior PA looking to develop their career within a supportive professional services environment. You’ll work closely with Partners, Fee Earners and wider business teams, providing varied day-to-day support and gaining exposure to a broad range of responsibilities.

The Role

  • Providing PA and administrative support an allocation of fee earners. 
  • Managing diaries, meetings, conference calls and room bookings.
  • Assisting with expenses, payments and the end-to-end billing process.
  • Handling enquiries from clients, colleagues and external contacts, acting as a professional first point of contact.
  • Assisting with client due diligence and preparation of engagement letters.
  • Supporting client and matter administration, ensuring information is accurately recorded and maintained.
  • Updating client and business development information and assisting with reports.
  • Helping to organise client events, seminars, lunches and other business development activities.
  • Producing, formatting and redacting documents to a high standard.
  • Assisting with ad-hoc projects, including document bundles and team events.
  • Building strong relationships across the firm and supporting the wider Private Client team

About You

  • Around 2 years’ experience in an administrative / secretarial role within a law firm. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisation and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
  • Accurate typing, spelling, grammar and proofreading skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A proactive, adaptable and positive approach.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • A professional and personable manner.
  • The ability to work collaboratively while also taking ownership of your responsibilities.

A secretarial or legal secretarial qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
