An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a busy and collaborative Development Sales team within a highly regarded law firm based in London.

The Role
You will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to a busy Development Sales team, assisting with a wide range of tasks to ensure the smooth running of matters from instruction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing general administrative support including filing, scanning, printing and managing incoming post/couriers
- Preparing and sending completed documents and cover letters
- Supporting fee earners with file opening and onboarding processes
- Producing bills, handling invoices and assisting with completion monies
- Liaising with clients via telephone and email, taking messages and managing queries professionally
- Submitting searches through online search providers
- Maintaining accurate electronic and hard copy filing systems
- Assisting with shared inbox management and wider team support
- Providing cover for other secretaries within the team when required
About You
- Previous Legal Secretarial experience within a law firm environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy and varied workload
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Confident communicator with strong client service skills
- Fast and accurate typing skills, including audio and copy typing experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also using initiative independently
