We are currently recruiting for an experienced Legal PA to join the funds team of a leading city law firm.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and proactive PA who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and providing high-quality support to Partners and Fee Earners. You’ll be an integral part of the team, with plenty of responsibility and the opportunity to build strong relationships across the firm.
The Role
- Providing PA support to Partners and Fee Earners, acting as a key point of contact.
- Managing complex diaries and inboxes, resolving clashes and prioritising meetings and deadlines.
- Organising internal and external meetings, including rooms, catering, technology, agendas and papers.
- Arranging complex international travel, including flights, accommodation, visas, transfers and itineraries.
- Managing the end-to-end billing process, including draft bills, disbursements, billing reports, narratives and credit notes.
- Managing expenses, invoices and disbursements.
- Supporting client and matter opening, including conflict searches, due diligence, electronic filing and file closure.
- Assisting with client events, seminars, bundles and other ad-hoc projects.
- Maintaining client and business development information.
- Producing, formatting and redacting documents to a high standard.
About You
- Must have previous Legal PA experience within a law firm.
- Confident with legal billing.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, with accurate typing, proofreading and document production skills.
- The ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
- A client-focused and professional approach, both internally and externally.
- The confidence to take ownership, anticipate requirements and build strong working relationships.
