A leading city law firm is looking for an experienced Legal PA Team Leader to join its highly regarded Private Client practice. About the Role
The successful candidate will lead and support a team of Legal PAs within the Private Client department, ensuring high-quality support to Partners and fee earners. This is a hands-on role combining team leadership, workload management and staff development with providing PA support when required, ensuring the smooth running of the department and consistently high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of Legal PAs, overseeing workload allocation, capacity and performance to ensure consistently high service standards.
Provide high-level PA support to Senior Partners within the Private Client practice, including complex diary and inbox management.
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training and development, providing ongoing guidance and support to the team.
Act as the key point of contact between PAs, Partners, fee earners and business services teams.
Monitor workflows, resolve resourcing challenges and manage escalations to ensure effective team coverage.
Identify and implement process improvements, new systems and best practices to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
Provide flexible PA cover during periods of absence or increased workload to maintain continuity of service.
Experience and Skills
Previous experience leading or supervising Legal PAs within a reputable law firm, with some exposure to Private Client work.
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams and build stakeholder relationships.
