I'm working with a leading international law firm that's looking for an experienced German-speaking Legal PA to join a busy and highly regarded team.
You'll be supporting several Partners, including the Head of Civil Law, in a fast-paced and international environment. German is essential, with regular communication across international offices and with German-speaking clients.
This is a role for someone who is energetic, proactive and has a real can-do attitude. The team is busy, so they're looking for someone who doesn't wait to be asked, enjoys getting stuck in and can simply get on with things.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing PA and secretarial support to several Partners
- Managing busy diaries, meetings and international travel
- Managing inboxes and client correspondence
- Preparing, formatting and proofreading legal documents
- Assisting with billing, time recording and expenses
- Opening new clients and matters and assisting with conflict checks
- Coordinating meetings and calls across multiple time zones
- Building strong relationships with Partners, clients and colleagues across international offices
What we're looking for:
- Fluent German and English – essential
- Previous Legal Secretary or Legal PA experience within a law firm
- Energetic, proactive and positive with a genuine can-do attitude
- Someone who takes ownership and gets things done without needing lots of direction
- Confident managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A team player who is happy to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in
