My client, a leading International Law Firm are looking for an experienced Associate to join their firm.
You must have at least 3 years Arbitration experience, full Mandarin language capacity and previous law firm experience for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on various aspects of contentious, particular international arbitration proceedings, from pre-arbitral strategy through to enforcement of awards
- Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda
- Drafting and reviewing pleadings, written submissions, witness statements, and expert reports
- Managing document review and disclosure exercises
- Assisting with the preparation and conduct of hearings, including witness preparation and cross-examination support
- Engaging with arbitral institutions and managing procedural aspects of arbitration proceedings
- Advising on the recognition, enforcement, and challenge of arbitral awards
- Supporting business development initiatives, including pitches, client alerts, thought leadership, and training programmes
- Mentoring and supervising junior associates and trainees, as appropriate
