Personal Assistant – International Law Firm

We are working with a prestigious international law firm that is seeking an exceptional Personal Assistant to provide dedicated one to one support to a Senior Associate. This is a rare and rewarding opportunity for someone looking for a role that extends beyond traditional Legal PA responsibilities.

Working closely in partnership with the Associate, you will provide a blend of administrative, research and accessibility support, becoming a trusted extension of their practice and helping to ensure they can work as effectively and efficiently as possible.

The position would suit someone with a genuine interest in the legal sector who enjoys being involved in the substance of legal work, whilst also bringing a caring, patient and supportive approach to their day to day interactions.

The Opportunity

This is a varied and engaging role that combines diary and workload management with legal research, document preparation, and day to day support. You will play a key role in helping the Associate manage a busy practice while contributing to the preparation of client facing materials and legal publications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting legal research projects and assisting with the preparation of reports, articles, legal publications, and client materials.
  • Drafting, formatting, proofreading, and producing high quality presentations, correspondence, and documents.
  • Creating and maintaining spreadsheets, data analysis tables, and reports.
  • Taking detailed notes and action points during meetings and discussions.
  • Reviewing documents and on screen materials as required.
  • Managing emails, documents, filing systems, and general administration.
  • Providing support during meetings and accompanying the Associate when required.
  • Assisting with accessibility requirements and practical day to day office support.
  • Coordinating tasks, managing priorities, and ensuring deadlines are met.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or Legal Assistant within a professional services environment.
  • A genuine interest in legal work and research based tasks.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A patient, empathetic, and supportive approach, with the ability to build a trusted working relationship.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and confident working independently.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Fast and accurate typing skills.

What's on Offer?

  • A unique opportunity to work closely with a highly respected legal professional.
  • Exposure to complex legal work and intellectually stimulating projects.
  • The chance to develop valuable legal and professional skills.
  • A collaborative, supportive, and inclusive working environment.
  • A role where you can make a genuine impact and build a long term, trusted partnership.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining strong administrative and organisational skills with an interest in legal work, and who takes genuine satisfaction from supporting others in a thoughtful and meaningful way.
