The Opportunity
Working alongside an established team of Legal PAs, you will provide comprehensive support to Partners and Fee Earners across the business, stepping in to cover absences and ensuring a seamless service is maintained at all times. This role offers exposure to a broad range of legal work and stakeholders, making it ideal for a flexible and organised individual who enjoys building relationships and has a keen interest in family law.
Key Responsibilities
Managing busy inboxes and ensuring emails and documents are accurately filed within the firm's document management system.
Providing diary management support, coordinating meetings, court hearings, client appointments, business development activities, and travel arrangements.
Preparing, formatting, and producing legal correspondence, court documents, reports, and other documentation.
Maintaining electronic and hard copy client files in accordance with firm procedures.
Supporting monthly billing processes, including time recording, draft bills, billing correspondence, and payment administration.
Liaising confidently with clients, barristers, clerks, courts, and other third parties by telephone and email.
Assisting with matter inception processes, including conflict checks, client engagement documentation, and opening new files.
Coordinating document execution processes, including compiling PDF bundles and arranging electronic signatures.
Supporting Land Registry submissions and online court administration through relevant portals.
Assisting fee earners with expense claims and general administrative tasks.
Organising domestic and international travel arrangements, accommodation, itineraries, and meeting logistics.
Preparing files for closure and archiving in line with regulatory and firm requirements.
Providing occasional support to reception and switchboard functions when required.
Delivering a professional and client-focused service at all times.
About You
Previous experience working as a Legal PA or within a legal support role.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
A proactive and flexible approach, with the confidence to adapt to different teams and working styles.
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong IT skills and experience working with legal systems and Microsoft Office applications.
A positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to delivering outstanding support.
