Role and key responsibilities

Reporting into the Senior People Operations Manager, the role of the People Service Delivery Manager (Europe) is responsible for the delivery, governance and continuous improvement of core People Operations processes across multiple European jurisdictions. This role ensures a consistent, compliant and high‑quality employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle, while maintaining accurate People data and robust operational controls.

Acting as a regional subject matter expert, the role partners closely with HR Business Partners, Reward, Payroll, Finance and our Governance & Compliance teams, and serves as an escalation point for complex operational matters. The People Service Delivery Manager (Europe) also plays a key role in driving operational excellence, system optimisation and risk mitigation across Europe, balancing standardisation with local requirements.


Key responsibilities for the People Service Delivery Manager (Europe) role are to:

  • Oversee end to end core People processes/paperwork required across Europe, including onboarding, offboarding, contractual changes and cyclical activities ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance across all jurisdictions
  • Drive standardisation of processes ensuring consistency and compliance across all jurisdictions
  • Act as an escalation point for HR Administrators across Europe on any complex operational matters, partnering with the local HR Business Partners
  • Collaborating with the Reward team, support benefits related queries across all European jurisdictions
  • Ensure accurate benefits data in HR Systems (e.g. SuccessFactors, Payroll Systems, any 3rd party systems) to maintain a single source of truth for reporting and payroll alignment
  • Ensure employee records and contractual documents are accurate and put in place any training for local teams, if required
  • Play a key role in any project work related to operational transformation work across Europe
  • Partner with the Governance & Compliance team to identify and deliver the employee screening approach across Europe, with a focus on risk mitigation and regulatory compliance
  • Develop and maintain clear process documentation, SOPs and system guidance
  • Define and track key People Operations KPIs (e.g. onboarding timeliness, data accuracy, query volumes, SLA adherence) to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Provide line management for a small team of People Operations Co‑ordinators/Administrators, including setting clear objectives, supporting development and performance, ensuring workload prioritisation, and fostering a consistent, high‑quality service delivery model
  • Work collaboratively with the wider People Operations team to share best practice, drive consistency in ways of working, and continuously improve service delivery across Europe

Experience:

  • Professional fluency in English and Dutch, with the ability to work confidently in a multilingual European environment; other European languages are highly advantageous
  • Strong experience in People Operations within a multi‑country European environment
  • Solid understanding of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, contractual changes and benefits administration
  • Working knowledge of European employment practices and regulatory considerations, with the ability to balance standardisation and local requirements
  • Proven ability to design, standardise and continuously improve operational processes at scale
  • Confidence working with process documentation, SOPs and operational controls
  • Experience line managing and developing a small team, including performance management, coaching and prioritisation of work
  • Strong stakeholder management is essential; experience gained within a professional services environment is desirable
  • Knowledge of the legal sector would be desirable
