Senior PR Manager - 12 Month FTC - Outstanding Global Law Firm
A leading US law firm is looking to appoint a Senior PR Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PR professional to join a high-performing team and take a leading role in managing the firm's external profile, reputation and media engagement.
As Senior PR Manager, you will work closely with senior stakeholders and Partners across the firm, providing strategic PR advice and identifying opportunities to raise the firm's profile across key markets and practice areas.
A significant part of the role will focus on media relations, including building and maintaining relationships with journalists, securing high-quality media coverage and proactively identifying opportunities to position Partners and the firm as commentators on relevant industry issues.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and delivering proactive PR and media relations strategies.
- Building strong relationships with journalists and key media contacts.
- Managing incoming media enquiries and acting as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities for Partners to secure profile-raising media coverage.
- Developing compelling stories, press releases, pitches and thought leadership content.
- Working closely with Partners and internal stakeholders to develop external communications campaigns.
- Monitoring relevant news and market developments to identify reactive and proactive PR opportunities.
- Supporting the wider communications team on firm-wide campaigns and initiatives.
- Advising senior stakeholders on media engagement and reputational considerations.
You will be confident working with senior stakeholders, comfortable providing strategic advice and able to translate complex subject matter into clear, compelling stories for the media.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent stakeholder management and a proactive approach are essential.
