My client is a global law firm with offices in the United States, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Their client base reads like a ‘whose who’ - they include public and privately held commercial companies and financial institutions and national governments.
They are now seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst. Reporting to the Associate Director of the Global Strategic Pricing Team, the Senior Analyst will be a key member of the Global Strategic Pricing Team. Duties will include assisting with the preparation of global client and matter fee agreements, monitoring agreements and assisting in preparing analysis of pricing and profitability trends.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation of global client and matter fee proposals, including gathering data and performing historical financial analysis.
- Support the modelling of pricing scenarios and fee arrangements for clients and matters to formulate optimal pricing outcomes.
- Help maintain and centralize the pricing governance database including Global Pricing Committee approvals and win/loss metrics.
- Assist with pricing and profitability performance reporting to identify trends and best practices.
- Work with Partners and key stakeholders to build budgets and support matters using the firm’s pricing and matter management tools.
- Analyse pricing activities and create bespoke analysis to improve profitability.
- Monitor the execution of pricing approvals and existing matters by tracking profitability performance of hourly deals and alternate fee arrangements against budgets.
- Support both Partners and Business services in responding to RFPs for matters and clients.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in Pricing is essential.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with advanced knowledge of data modelling.
- Excellent MS Excel knowledge is essential.
- Working knowledge of Elite 3E.
- The ability to confidently communicate and provide clear guidance and advice, both verbally and written to internal clients including senior partners.
- Strong team player skills, and willing to “roll up your sleeves” and get things done.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, intellectually rigorous environment.
- Self-motivation and the capacity to be highly organized, accurate, and maintain high levels of attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm with the ability to manage your own workload and priorities to meet deadlines.
